We live in a competitive global economy. To prepare our students to meet these demands, we base our curriculum on Connecticut Core educational standards.
We use an interdisciplinary approach in our curriculum to help students build real-world connections between subjects. And when tackling new material, students develop critical thinking skills through “Big Ideas” incorporated into each unit through a series of essential questions.
Curriculum maps are a type of “educational road map” of what we want students to know when they complete a course or grade level. Our maps are dynamic documents that we regularly review, update, and submit for peer review to ensure we are offering students only the best educational options for their academic success. You are welcome to review these maps at any time, and if you have questions, please let us know.
