Welcome to Our PTO
The PTO is a parent volunteer organization that provides manpower and monetary funds to enrich and supplement the educational experience of all children at East Haddam Elementary, support the efforts of the staff, and promote school spirit and pride.
As a parent or guardian of a East Haddam Elementary student, you are automatically a member of the PTO. We run entirely on fundraisers and donations and rely on volunteers like you for your support. We encourage you to attend general PTO meetings and become involved. We feel that the key to a successful PTO is the involvement of the entire school community. New ideas and suggestions are always welcome. We look forward to working with you!

Jenn Boyle
President
Biography
About Jenn Boyle
Hi, all. I am new to the PTO board. I have a 5th grader and a preschool student this year. I have joined the PTO as the incoming president with hopes to be a positive influence in my kids (and your kids) lives. I want to help provide and support the fun things for our school and help our teachers/staff have a successful year with our kids. Outside of PTO president, I am a mom, an engineer, a co-leader of a Junior Girl Scout Troop, and a board member of the Roger Williams School of Engineering Professional Advisory board. I am looking forward to building relationships with you all.

Biography
About Christine Rutty
Hi everyone! My name is Christine, and I am so honored to be able to continue on the EHES PTO board in a new role as treasurer. My son, Landon, will be in 2nd grade for the 2023–2024 school year. It has been such a joy to see all the kids grow these past couple of years. Volunteering with the PTO has provided me opportunities to get to know all the kids better and to help out the teachers in any way that I can. I am looking forward to this upcoming school year and meeting all the new students, staff, and parents. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have or say “hi” if you see me around.

Tina Hartley
Secretary
Biography
About Tina Hartley
Hi! My name is Tina Hartley, and this will be my first year serving as secretary of the East Haddam Elementary School PTO. I have twin boys that will be starting first grade in the fall, Samuel and Jacob. I work full time as a registered respiratory therapist specializing in home care. We have been living in East Haddam for the past three years and love the community. I decided to become secretary so that I could be more involved in the PTO and in my boys' education. I volunteered last year as much as I could and loved meeting everyone and all the things the PTO does, and I look forward to being a bigger part of that this year. I’m looking forward to a great school year!
