Good nutrition and academic success go hand in hand!
Our Food Services Department consists of a team of food and nutrition professionals who are dedicated to students’ health, well-being, and ability to learn. We support academic success by providing healthy meal choices while promoting lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
School Meal Information
The state of Connecticut will be providing funding for free breakfast for all students regardless of their eligibility status. Lunch will still be on a pay-per-meal basis. We encourage everyone to set up a MyPaymentsPlus account for their students to charge meals. Click on the link in the right column to set up the account.
Additionally, anyone eligible for reduced rate meals, will now have all meals, breakfast and lunch, for free. Be sure to complete the free/reduced application as soon as possible if you think you may be eligible, it can take up to 30 days to process.
For questions, please call central office at 860-873-5090, or email Director of Food Services Natalie Mather.
All of our school campuses participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). The NSLP is a federally assisted meal program that provides nutritionally balanced, low cost or free meals to qualifying students. The food and beverages we sell or serve on our campuses meet the state and federal requirements, which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We encourage families to apply for meal benefits by completing a Free and Reduced Meal Application.
School breakfast ensures our students start the school day well-nourished and ready to learn. For a reasonable price, your child receives whole grains, fruit, and protein—all the ingredients needed to fuel their brain for optimal learning.
Free and Reduced Lunch
We participate in the federal free and reduced lunch program. If you believe you qualify for benefits, please complete the application below. Participants may qualify at any time during the school year.
