A. Parents should call the school (860-873-5081) the morning of the absence. This will avoid the need for us to contact you at home or at your workplace.

Q. How does my child get excused from school?

A. Parents should send a note to school the day of the early dismissal. Your child should bring that note to the main office where they will receive an early dismissal pass. At the time of the dismissal, they will be summoned to the office where they will be signed out.

Q. What is considered appropriate attire for school?

A. Students are expected to behave, dress and groom themselves in a manner that is in keeping with the academic atmosphere for school.

• Clothing must be neat.
• Clothing having indecent writing, indecent pictures or indecent slogans may not be worn.
• Clothing which would cause injury or damage to the individual, other students and/or school property may not be worn.
• Cut-off shirts, tank, tube and halter tops are not acceptable dress for school.
• Hats may not be worn in school.
