Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Todd Moss at 7:04 p.m. at the Nathan Hale High School – Room 117.

Approval of Minutes
Motion by Dana Barnes to approve the minutes of the October 27th
, 2004 meeting. Seconded by Mary Beth
Mordecai and unanimously passed.
Audience of Citizens
There was no Audience of Citizens.
Old Business
Contracts
Mr. Moss informed the Committee that the contract with the surveyor had been signed and that a copy of the executed copy would be available to Committee members. He stated that the start date for the survey is November 15th with a 56 day completion period. It was stated that Craig Parker, Mrs. Budzik and Mr. Moss had spent a considerable amount of time negotiating the KBA contract together with the Town Attorney. Draft copies were distributed for Committee members to review.
Mr. Moss stated that Whitney Talcott from KBA had composed a list of Civil Engineering firms for Committee input and review. It was stated that KBA pays for the Civil Engineering firm out of their 6.75% allotted funds in the contract. David King stated that one of the early tasks of the Civil Engineer would to be to identify the ideal spot for the septic, confirming the location of the school. Committee members discussed the importance of determining the school sight in order to maximize state reimbursement.
New Business
Mr. Moss distributed and discussed the following documentation:

A document from Nancy W. McHone, Staff geologist from
the State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, Connecticut
Geological and Natural History Survey, Dated November 15th, 2004 to Brad Parker, First Selectman. The letter states that although Connecticut
experiences small earthquakes several times per year, none of the historic
earthquakes has been connected to any mapped fault. It also states that a search of geological maps in the Geological
and Natural History Survey library did not turn up any indication of a fault in
the area of North Moodus Road or anywhere near the site of the proposed new
school.
Determination of Next Meeting
Motion by Mr. Gibson to have a Special Meeting December 1st, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Nathan Hale High
School – Room 117. Seconded by Mr.
Barnes and unanimously passed.
Other Discussion
Motion by Mr. Moss to go into
Executive session @7:27 p.m, inviting Bob Carroll, Dave King and Ruth Ziobron
to attend, for purposes of discussing property negotiations. Seconded by Mr. Barnes and passed
unanimously.
Motion made by Mr. Moss to come out of executive session @ 7:44. Seconded by Ms.
Mordecai and passed unanimously.
No action or decisions were taken.

Motion by Mr. Barnes at 7:45 p.m. to adjourn. Seconded by Ms. Mordecai and passed unanimously.
