Affirmative Action

It is the policy of the East Haddam Board of Education not to permit unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, marital status, handicap or national origin in establishing and implementing hiring and employment practices and in establishing and providing educational programs and activities. This policy is consistent with the mandates of Federal law, specifically, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Public law 90‑202, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1972, and Section 10-153 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
