Questioning and Apprehension
Police interviews
concerning matters not related to the school should generally take place out of
school and not on school property. There are some instances when this is
difficult and the school administration should cooperate when necessary. The
questioning of a student in school or on school property shall be done only in
the presence of the school Principal/Assistant Principal.
In all instances,
parents/guardian shall be notified as quickly as possible of the situation and
what is known about the possible involvement of their child.
