Community Relations

School‑Community Associations

The Board of Education recognizes school‑community groups such as Parent‑Teacher Organizations or the Principal’s Advisory Committee as integral parts of the school community which can promote better educational programs.

The Board of Education encourages active support of and cooperation with school‑community organizations.

Among the many services that such associations can offer, the Board of Education especially endorses support for parent/citizen volunteer programs in our schools.
