CT All State Soccer Team
JT Smith, a junior, was recently selected to the Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association All State Team for the 2009 season. This is quite an honor as JT has only been playing soccer for 3 years.  JT has been the starting goalkeeper on the Hale-Ray soccer team since his freshman year.  As a sophomore, he was selected as the best goalkeeper in the very competitive Shoreline Conference.  This year he was again chosen as the top goalkeeper in the conference as well as being selected as one of the best goalkeepers in the state of Connecticut.  JT is known for his hard work and willingness to learn which also led the way for him being chosen as a captain of the soccer team for the 2009 and 2010 seasons.  Great work JT!
